HP Chromebook - 14a-na0010nr
Chrome OS

I recently bought an Hp Chromebook(14a-na0010nr) and there is a setting under display that is "Shiny Performance". I can't find any info on the web for this at all. I've tried some AI apps and they do not know what it is either. Can someone tell me.

Thanks

Welcome to the HP Community --

HP Chromebook is essentially a Chromebook with an HP name on it.

That said, the settings are coming from ChromeOS.

I did find this reference -- I am guessing that Shiny Performance is related to how games are displayed.

Perhaps switch OFF Shiny Performance  > Check for any difference.

Why are computer graphics usually so "shiny" and what's the best way to "fix" that shininess?
