@Sajal_03, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the webcam not found error!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Let’s go through a few steps to troubleshoot the error 0xA00F4244 (NoCamerasAreAttached):

  1. Restart Your PC: A simple restart can refresh system settings and resolve minor issues.
  2. Check Privacy Settings: Ensure the camera shutter (if available) is open. Also, check Windows privacy settings:
    • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
    • Ensure "Allow apps to access your camera" is enabled.
  3. Check Device Manager:
    • Press Win + X, select Device Manager.
    • Expand Imaging devices or Cameras. If the camera is missing, click Action > Scan for hardware changes.
  4. Update BIOS: Outdated firmware might cause camera detection issues. You can download and install the latest BIOS from HP’s Support Website.
  5. Update Drivers & Firmware:
    • Visit HP’s website to install the latest camera drivers.
    • If available, download and install HP Support Assistant for automatic driver updates.

If the issue persists:
7. Install Windows Updates: Ensure your system is fully updated by going to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
