I have an elitebook 8730w,if i plug in the power adapter or battery the screen comes on a sort of grey colour but dimly,otherwise it works ok,its like it half turns on when anny power is applied,it has a 17 inch truecolour screen,it has only just started doing this, any idea how to fix it?,cheers Paul m3vuv.

it also does this with no hd inside it.

I should say its like the backlight turns on,it just shows a dull grey green colour no text etc,is this a bios setting?.it has the latest 68pad version flashed.
