@Roshan-rebel, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like your HP Notebook - 15s-du0094tu might be experiencing overheating issues, which can lead to display problems after prolonged use. Here are steps you can follow to help mitigate overheating and improve your laptop's performance:
Clean the Vents and Inspect the Fans
- Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cord.
- Move any objects away from the computer to improve airflow.
- Find the vents on your laptop, usually located underneath and on the sides.
- Use canned air to remove dust from the vents to improve airflow.
- Wait five to ten minutes to allow the computer to cool down.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the computer.
- Listen to the fans to ensure they are working correctly. If they make a loud growling noise or aren't moving, there may be an issue with the fan.
Increase Efficiency to Reduce Heat
- Close applications when you are done using them and lower game resolutions if you play video games.
- Change which applications run on Windows startup using the Startup tab in Task Manager.
Adequate Ventilation
- Keep the computer upright and on a level surface, providing at least 6 inches of clearance around each vent.
Use HP Software
- On select HP computers, tools like HP CoolSense or HP Command Center can manage internal temperatures.
Change the System Settings
- Open Control Panel and adjust system performance settings to decrease power consumption.
- In BIOS, navigate to System Configuration tab and select System Power Scheme to balance performance.
Update BIOS
Use HP Support Assistant to find and install updates, including BIOS updates for your computer.
By following these steps, you can reduce the risk of overheating and improve the overall functionality of your HP laptop.
