When I turned on the computer today, the screen was all grainy/snowy.  Tried shutting down and restarting, but it didn't solve the problem.  Maybe the resolution is off?  Problem is I can't see/read anything on the screen, so I don't know how to check resolution either.

Can you attach an external monitor to the "video-output" port on your laptop?

Does the image on that screen look "normal" ?

Thank you.  The external monitor showed a normal clear screen and it "bumped" my laptop screen back to normal as well.  Not sure why/how that worked, but thank you for the suggestion!
