hello, there is my problem,
my second monitor (first si my laptop screen) too zoomed in only with display port
my setup :
- HP EliteBook 840 G5 (Laptop)
- LG 32LM6300PLA (TV as second screen)
- HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station
- connected with cable DisplayPort to HDMI
Everithing was working well when I was on windows 10.
on win 11, that works only with the HDMI
I want to stay on with windows 11, and use the docking station to connect to my computer.
(just to precise, my docking station doesn't have HDMI, only display port, and the HDMI port of the laptop is not reachable when the laptop is on the docking station. So I can only connect with displayport)
...this arrived when I upgraded to windows 11... but why ??
I tried to go in win 11 settings but nothing to do, same with the LGtv settings, I can't zoom out enough.
I also tried to install these drivers from this page : https://support.hp.com/be-fr/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-840-g5-notebook-pc/18491271
.......
- https://support.hp.com/be-fr/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-elitebook-840-g5-notebook-pc/18491271/... INSTALLED
-https://support.hp.com/be-fr/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-elitebook-840-g5-notebook-pc/18491271/... TOLD ME THE OPERATING SYSTEM IS NOT COMPATIBLE
I wish that's the problem, because that could be solved by updates.
results... don't works
do you have any ideas ?
Thank You

Hello
could you post a picture of your external display to better understand what you see on it ?
you get "OPERATING SYSTEM IS NOT COMPATIBLE" probably because there is already another Intel driver installed for Intel Graphics Card.
if you want to try to install HP driver at https://support.hp.com/be-fr/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-elitebook-840-g5-notebook-pc/18491271/... , you must go in Device Manager , select Intel Graphics card and unistall the device, when you get the windows , select to remove the driver too. Now you can try to install sp115295.exe.
I should have an 840 G5 with Win 11 installed but I don't have anymore the ultraslim docking station but I can try to connect the external display to 840 G5 DisplayPort insteed. does it make sense ?
bye
