HP 15-bs1xx laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After I boot into windows one or two, usually two ghost circles, about 1/2 inches in diameter appear on the screen. If two, they are stacked vertically. A ghost cursor arrow hovers and is stuck to them. The circles and ghost cursor blink. The real cursor jumps around and does not fully function. It randomly clicks, and opens programs and program features. It seems connected somehow to the ghost cursor.

I cannot use my programs properly. Usually the ghost circles and cursor are midway on the screen vertically and 1/3 from the left edge of screen horizontally. Sometimes there is only 1 circle and it's stuck on the bottom taskbar.

I disabled the touch screen and that took away the problem. That should be a clue as to what is causing the ghost circles/cursor.

@frankmphoto

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting two circles in the middle of the screen and the cursor is clicking randomly.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

When was the last time the computer was working fine?

Have you made any software changes on the computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
