Hi @Vamshi273,

Thank you for your reply

I understand your HP Victus gaming laptop is experiencing significant hardware or software issues. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the problem:

1. Basic Troubleshooting

Restart the Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.

Update Windows:

  • Ensure your operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.

Update Drivers:

  • Update your graphics card drivers, keyboard, and other essential drivers.
  • You can do this through Device Manager or by visiting the HP website and downloading the latest drivers for your model.

2. Check for Software Issues

Scan for Malware:

  • Use Windows Defender or another reputable antivirus program to scan for malware or viruses.

Disable Unnecessary Startup Programs:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Go to the Startup tab and disable any unnecessary programs.

Perform a Clean Boot:

  • Type msconfig in the search box and press Enter.
  • Go to the Services tab, check "Hide all Microsoft services," and then disable the remaining services.
  • Restart the laptop and see if the issue persists.

3. Check for Hardware Issues

Run HP Diagnostics:

  • Restart your laptop and press the F2 key to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  • Run the extensive system tests to check for hardware issues.

Check for Overheating:

  • Make sure your laptop is not overheating. Ensure the vents are not blocked, and consider using a cooling pad.

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure the power adapter and battery are functioning correctly.

4. Restore or Reset the System

System Restore:

  • If the issues started after installing new software or updates, you can try restoring the system to an earlier point. Go to Control Panel > Recovery > Open System Restore.

Reset Windows:

  • If all else fails, you can reset Windows. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC.
  • Choose whether to keep your files or remove everything and start fresh.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
