On start up the first time I tried to get the correct country (Sweden) but the mouse (plate) would not take me to there and I ended up on British Islands somewhere about 10 hours ahead of Sweden. I thought I could easily correct this later and I wanted to get on with the start up. In windows I am registered in Sweden and I managed to manually to set the date and clock right but I am afraid the time may not be adjusted automatically for daylight saving and I see there is a slight difference in time compared to my desktop PC as I could not set the seconds when changing. The best solution wold be to tell the PC where I am and I hope someone knows how to.

Hi! @George-45,
Try the steps recommended below and check if it helps.
Check Windows Time service settings
Press Windows Key + S and enter Services. Choose Services from the menu.
Once the Services window opens, locate Windows Time service and double click it.
Check the Startup type section and set it to Automatic.
Check the Service status. If the service is running, click Stop and then click Start again. If the service isn’t running, click the Start button to start it.
Click Apply and OK.
Change Internet Time server
Open Control Panel. You can do that by pressing Windows Key + S, typing Control Panel and choosing Control Panel from the list of results.
Once you open Control Panel, navigate to Clock, Language and Region section and click on Date and Time.
Navigate to Internet Time tab and click Change settings button.
In the Server section select time.nist.gov instead of time.windows.com and click Update now.
Click OK to save changes.
Unregister and register Windows Time service
Open Command Prompt as administrator. You can do that by pressing Windows Key + X and choosing Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
Once the Command Prompt opens, enter the following lines and press Enter after each line in order to run it:
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /register
net start w32time
w32tm /resync
Close Command Prompt and restart your computer. Once your computer restarts, the issue should be resolved.

I had already set the time via windows, but I was not sure if the laptop also had a built in HP time-piece. Now I know that the time can just be set in one way. Let me tell you that I also used your support service via What´s App in Ireland on another issue and that worked perfectly. That other issue was a question about the super speed USB ports whether they are compatible with USB 2 items and I was told that they are regular USB 2 ports. I think you should mention this in the manual - I did not want to use force to press a USB contact into the port so as not to ruin the Laptop in case they were different.

Hi! @George-45,
Thanks for the update.
I have checked the records and found the details of USB specifications mentioned in the laptop maintenance and service guide.
USB 3.1 ports (2, right side)
USB Type-C port; USB 3.1 Gen 1 (left side); supports data transfer
Refer the laptop maintenance and service guide for more information. Click Here
