Hi @sawan7415,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand. Two-finger scrolling not working on your HP laptop usually points to a touchpad driver or settings issue. Here’s how to fix it:

1. Check Touchpad Settings

  1. Press Windows + ISettingsBluetooth & devicesTouchpad.
  2. Under Scroll and zoom, make sure Drag two fingers to scroll is enabled.

2. Update/Reinstall Touchpad Driver

  1. Press Windows + XDevice Manager.
  2. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
  3. Right-click your touchpad (often listed as Synaptics, ELAN, or Precision Touchpad) → Update driver
    • Choose Search automatically for drivers.
  4. If that doesn’t help:
    • Right-click → Uninstall device → Restart your laptop.
    • Windows will reinstall the driver automatically.

3. Enable Touchpad Gestures in HP Control Panel

  • If your laptop uses Synaptics or ELAN:
    • Open Control Panel → Mouse → Touchpad Settings.
    • Enable Two-finger scrolling under gestures.

4. Windows Precision Touchpad Settings

  • If your HP supports Precision Touchpad:
    • Go to Settings → Devices → Touchpad.
    • Ensure gestures are turned on.

5. BIOS/HP Support Assistant Update

  • Open HP Support Assistant → Check for updates (touchpad firmware or driver).
  • Also, update BIOS from Official HP® Support.

6. Restart After Changes

Sometimes settings apply only after a reboot.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
