@zeesheem, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Touch screen issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're experiencing touch screen issues with your HP Pavilion after changing your Windows operating system, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Check Touch Screen Functionality:

  • Ensure that the touch screen feature is enabled. You can check this in Device Manager under Human Interface Devices. Look for HID-compliant touch screen and make sure it is enabled.

Update Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Software & Driver Downloads page to find and update your touch screen driver.
  • Select your product and the correct operating system, then expand the Driver section. Download and install any available updates for the touch screen.

Windows Updates:

  • Ensure your Windows OS is fully updated. Often, a Windows update can fix driver-related issues.

Recalibrate Touch Screen:

  • You can use the calibration tool in Windows to recalibrate your touch screen settings. Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Tablet PC Settings, and select "Calibrate."

Restore to Previous Settings:

  • If the issue started after a specific update, consider reverting back to the previous settings or performing a system restore if possible.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
