I've been having this issue for months since I upgraded to Windows 11 in January. The touchpad works randomly and not for long. I could restart a few (sometimes 10 or 15 times, no joke). I cannot see any touchpad in my settings anywhere,,,,not mouse or touchpad. I cannot see the touchpad in the device manager. HP will not let me download any drivers on this device. There seems to be no way to download, install, or connect a device for the touchpad. How is this possible if my device comes with a touchpad? So i did a factory reset because Friday, the touchpad would not come on at all. After that arduous task, I downloaded the Elan driver and touchpad was back. then gone the next morning. I'm running Windows 10 22H2 OS Build 19045 4291. Please help.
