@SirIKe I've looked into the details, and it looks like the touchpad driver in use may be generic, that could explain why the options I'm referring to aren't showing up, that said, I suggest you uninstall them from the device manager and then install the touchpad driver from the HP website: Click here to download.

 

This should help you get the options to disable the touchpad using the steps I suggested earlier, if not, please respond with the product number or complete model name of your device: click here for details on how to find it.
