Hi there, I just bought a new hp spectre notebook and have issues with the two-finger scroll down function. I can scroll but while scrolling the screen goes black - so I cant see where I am scrolling to. Can you help?

Hey there! @EBUES01, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand when you use the two-finger scrolling on your PC the screen goes blank.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your laptop?

Does this happen when you are using a particular application or does it happen on all the applications?

As you mentioned when you use the two-finger scrolling on your PC the screen goes blank.

If the issue persists only while using the browser, try resetting the browser to defaults.

Try updating the BIOS and graphics drivers on your PC and check if it helps.

Also, update the touchpad drivers on your PC and check if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists after updating the drivers. Try the steps recommended below.

Uninstall the touchpad drivers from device manager and install touchpad drivers using HP recovery manager and check if it helps.

Refer this article to know how to restore drivers using HP recovery manager.

Also, update other drivers on your PC using HP support assistant if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists try running a system diagnostics test on your PC and check if the hardware components on your PC are functioning correctly.
