P19A monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

No selection was available for my Prodesk 400 G1 desktop computer nor my P19A monitor, so I selected "notebook" as the closest board category. My questions are: (1) My computer has a VGA port & a DVI port. can I use the DVI port rather than the VGA port for a screen display? (2) My P19A monitor does not seem to have a DVI port, only 1 - VGA port. Are there any other ways such as an adapter to connect to the DVI port?

Looks like it is a very old monitor

The specs above does not say its input port(s) but I believe it ONLY has VGA input port. Please do not waste money to buy an adapter, you need a proper converter because DVI to VGA is from digital to analog.

Can you computer connect to a different monitor for testing ? Or can your monitor connect to a different machine ?

Regards.
