@Sravan_Gsk, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your webcam not working!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand that your webcam is not working on your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 despite trying multiple troubleshooting steps. Let’s go through some additional checks to resolve this issue.

Check if the Webcam is Enabled

  1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
  3. If your webcam is listed, right-click and select Enable device (if available).

Check Privacy Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
  2. Ensure that Camera access is turned ON.
  3. Scroll down and ensure that apps like Camera, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. have permission to use the webcam.

Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Shut down your laptop.
  2. Disconnect all external devices and the power adapter.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the laptop.

Test Webcam in Different Apps

  • Open the Camera app (Press Windows + S, type "Camera," and open it).
  • Try using the webcam in another app like Zoom or Skype to check if it's working.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Turn off your laptop.
  2. Turn it back on and immediately press F2 repeatedly to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.
  3. Select Component Tests > Camera and run the test.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
