@jwmwibrahma, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble with the webcam on your HP 15s-du3038TU. Let's walk through some steps to get it working again.
Use the Camera App
- Press Windows + S, type Camera, and open the Camera app.
- If the camera works here, the issue may be with a specific app (like Zoom or Teams).
Check Device Manager
- Press Windows + X > Device Manager.
- Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.
- If you see your webcam listed, right-click it and select Update driver > Search automatically.
- If it's not listed or has a yellow warning icon, try selecting Scan for hardware changes.
Reinstall Webcam Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click the webcam and choose Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop. Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
Install Latest Drivers
- Visit the HP support page and download the latest camera or chipset drivers for your model.
Run HP Diagnostics
- Use the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool to test the webcam:
- Download HP PC Hardware Diagnostics - HP PC Hardware Diagnostics | HP® Support
Windows Privacy Settings
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
- Ensure Camera access for this device is turned On.
- Also, make sure apps like Zoom, Teams, or Skype have permission to use the camera.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
