Hi:

Your notebook has a BIOS whitelist which restricts most Wi-Fi cards not listed in the service manual from working.

Several forum members have reported that the below model Wi-Fi card will work in the 15-ac0xx model series:

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.

I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

RTL8821CE - Buy RTL8821CE with free shipping on AliExpress

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.

I leave a note here, when i able to do this.

You're very welcome.

I've never seen that model Wi-Fi card with two antenna terminals.

The ones for HP notebooks only have one wire to attach the antenna wires to and the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work with the single antenna wire.

Since you have the card, you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

I can confirm that RTL8821CE from Lenovo are compatible with 15-ac003ur.

Card started without a question.

You're very welcome.

That is excellent news!

Here is the latest Wi-Fi driver for that model card:

2024.10.228.2    03/07/2023

I looked in the driver setup information file and it has drivers for the Lenovo card, so maybe it will work for yours.

This is the latest Bluetooth driver:

1.9.1051.3004
