HP Pavilion - 15-cs3003ca
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I currently own a HP Pavillon 15-cs3003ca with Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac 2 × 2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) 924813-855 and I'm looking to upgrade.

Can I swap that card with any M.2 card? Will Intel Wi-fi 6 AX203 work?

Thank you very much. Sylvain

Hi:

None of the models listed at the link below will work in your notebook.

What Are the Intel® Integrated Connectivity (CNVi) and Companion...

I recommend this model if you want to upgrade the Wi-Fi adapter:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part #/SPS # L35282-005

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Good morning Paul,

Thank you for the explanations your quick take on my problem,

I've order 2x Intel AX200NGW 2.4Gbps 2400Mbps 802.11ax Dual Band NGFF M.2 Wireless Network Card, Intel AX200 WiFi ... (so I have a backup card).

Also, the link regarding the installation will be a great help with the installation. I should get the card today.

Thank you for your time and expertise.

Best regards.

Hello Paul,

It turned out that the antenna #2 connector on the card itself was broken, causing an intermittent connection.

The projet was a breeze and now all is good.

Again, thanks for your support, have a great one.
