Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, I am working on a friends HP red version 15-f272wm. I had to reinstall a new hard drive , i reloaded windows 10 64 home , it shows all my networks but anytime I click on one it asks for the password and then acts like it's going to connect, then the airplane mode on and off will toggle on the screen, the wifi light goes from white to  amber to  back to white and finally says unable to connect to this network. I tried it at my house and at my office and even one last time at a cafe. I downloaded the driver from hp it's a realtek rtl8188ee 802.11 bgn wifi adapter (it showed a qualcom driver on there but when i went to try it was prompted that  it wasn't installed. I right click and updated driver online, I have tried everything. Has anyone had this problem? I can get online wired just fine . Thanks

@marlonmac

No, it does not have Qualcom, it must be a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 WiFi adapter part # 709848-001 and must use Realtek driver. Please do a clean install Wifi software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

    https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp82501-83000/sp82801.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Network Adapters to uninstall Qualcom or any wifi driver and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.
