Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

My HP Laptop 14s-dk0xxx is having issues staying connected to a 5G wifi network. It's slow to load then continually blocks specific sites. I will gain wifi access for about 60 seconds and then it goes offline.

I've got no issues connecting to other wifi networks (not 5G) and have tried all HP updates, scans and even switched from public to private networks as a troubleshooting measure. Laptop appears to be up to date with the latest drivers and software also.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

I believe you have the Realtek RTL8822BE wireless board

A recent driver update is here

There are 8 versions of that model you listed

Please verify your network card by entering your serial number below and looking for the Wi-Fi card

 Hi, I'm currently using Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac

Try this one

also, how did you determine the  8821ce, did the serial number lookup work?

You could also log into your modem if it is accessible, and find a better 5ghz channel.  You could also force the 5ghz
