I recently bought a second-hand 840 G3. It has the 8260NGW wifi card that includes bluetooth. After installing Windows 11 from scratch, I updated it to the latest BIOS 1.62.
A few hours later I realized that the Bluetooth was not working. Reading this forum, some recommended checking that Bluetooth is not disabled in the BIOS. In version 1.62 there is no such option. After much thought I verified that version 1.42 does have Bluetooth activated and works perfectly.
How is it possible that Bluetooth is completely disabled with a BIOS update and there is no warning of this loss of functionality?

Hi Cpunto,

Regarding the issue you were experiencing with the EliteBook's Bluetooth, were you able to resolve it? If so, could you please share how you managed to fix it? I'm encountering the same problem and would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Thank you!
