AC 7260

Installed wireless card AC-7260 WLAN error 702 hardware not supported. I am using F.66 bios. Remove hardware and reboot. HP has a part number for this unit. It might be whitelisted.

I understand that you have inserted an AC 7260 7260HMW 802.11AC Dual Band BT4.0 PCIe Half Mini Wifi Card into your HP Pavilion g7-1070us Notebook PC

I looked at page 24 in Chapter 3 of the Maintenance and Service Guide; you will see that there is a list of WLAN adapters that are supported for your model: 

I do not see the WLAN Adapter you have described in the compatible list of WLAN Adapters you can use in your Notebook. However, you can try to restore the BIOS defaults, but I cannot guarantee that the restore will work. 

Please note remove any and all USB devices, and remove memory cards from the card reader slot. Disconnect all non-essential devices (including an external mouse and keyboard.

Thank you ! I should have gone to the manual First. AC 7260 doesn't work in the Pavilion G7 1070US .
