Could the wlan card still be faulty in spite of the Device Manager saying its ok ?

I'm at a loss with this one now :indifferent:

Unfortunately the only way to know is to try a different wireless card. What prompted you to seek out the new antennae to begin with?

When repairing the broken hinges i noticed the antenna cable was almost split through in 2 places by the hinge. Wifi signal had dropped off dramatically few months before hand.

Hi I have had this same issue in that ordering a replacement antenna cable I found would not fit the wlan board because the connector on the cable is too small to fit over - it looks to be the same size

I ordered 813293-001. Can you confirm if that is the wrong cable for this model HP 250 G3 and that 749638-001 is the one I need for the wlan 690020-001?

Many thanks
