I have a HP Pavilion 15 laptop, I would like to switch of the WiFi and the camera in BIOS but it see this as an option. Other HP computers seem to be able to access the BIOS to achieve this, but mine is not.

Hi @Tim343,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To switch off the Wi-Fi on an HP Pavilion 15 laptop, you can follow these steps.

Method 1: Using the Function Keys

  1. Locate the "F12" key on your keyboard. It may have an icon that resembles an antenna or signal waves.
  2. Press and hold the "Fn" (Function) key on your keyboard.
  3. While holding the "Fn" key, press the "F12" key to toggle the Wi-Fi on or off. The Wi-Fi indicator light on the laptop may also turn off when the Wi-Fi is disabled.

Method 2: Using Windows Settings

  1. Open the Windows Start menu by clicking on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  2. Click on the "Settings" (gear icon) to open the Windows Settings menu.
  3. In the Windows Settings menu, select "Network & Internet."
  4. In the Network & Internet settings, click on "Wi-Fi" from the left-hand sidebar.
  5. On the right side, toggle the switch under "Wi-Fi" to the "Off" position. This will disable the Wi-Fi on your laptop.

Please note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the exact model of your HP Pavilion 15 laptop and the version of Windows you are using. However, these methods should generally work for most HP Pavilion 15 laptops.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
