Bad Internet Connection

Hello Community,

I have HP Pavilion 5 NoteBook PC and I had this problem from a while that I receive the internet connection with only two signals and I'm beside the Router but on the other devices the internet works perfectly, What I can do?

I have RaLink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter Driver

I tried to update the driver and watched some solutions but didn't work.

Can you tell me what I should do? Should I change WiFi Card or buy USB Wi-Fi adapter that increase the signal?

Hi:

None of the Ralink wifi cards work well or at all with the last several builds of W10.

There is no software/driver fix.  I'm surprised it is even showing up in the device manager.  Usually it completely disappears.

I would suggest you replace the card with a better one, or use a USB wifi adapter.

Before I can recommend an internal wifi card replacement, I would need to know the full model number or product number of your notebook.

As it turns out, I cannot find any specs on your notebook.

Can you please let me know if it has an Intel core processor or an AMD processor?

Then I will be able to give you a recommendation for an internal wifi card.
