Black and white camera

i have a fairly old laptop i think its a zbook 17 the never really used the camera but did test it when i bought it and it was fine but now when i open the camera app for a second there is color and then turns black and white its the same for any other app that uses the camera

Basically the IR pickup thinks there is not enough light for color to work.

You can try cleaning the lens.  Possibly the IR camera is a small pinhole that is clogged.  look for a second lens or tiny pinhole.

The IR may be part of the color pickup instead of a separate lens unfortunately.
