I have a HP Elitebook 850 G5 running Windows 10. Some time ago Windows 10 started to constantly play the disconnect/connect sounds. When trying to find the cause for this behaviour I found out that the bluetooth functionality is missing completely. There is no Bluetooth device in the Device Manager, the WIFI is working properly though.
The device causing the disconnect/connect events is a Serial USB Device (COM3) which is connected to the Intel XMM7360-P WWAN. I already updated to the most recent bios and I updated all drivers. I even reinstalled Windows, but the problem still persists.

Your machine should have one of the following Wifi adapters,
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo, vPro™
- Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo, non-vPro™
- Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac (2x2) Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 4.2 Combo, non-vPro™
Which one does it have ? Please go to the following link to download the right one and install to your machine

It is the Intel 8265 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapter. The correct drivers where already installed, and I also tried to reinstall multiple times. I have found a workaround though. After removing the LTE Module (Fibocom L850-GL) everything is working fine now.
