About a week ago I noticed that my Bluetooth speaker wasn't connecting to my computer. I thought it was a pairing issue and that a restart and device disconnect/reconnect would resolve it. I was wrong.
I discovered that Bluetooth was turned off on my computer and the toggle to turn it back on was gone. My Bluetooth devices show up on the Bluetooth list of connections but they are grayed out. I can't remove them from the list. I can't take any action on them. Additionally, Bluetooth is not listed anywhere on device manager so I can't select it to remove and reinstall it. And I've tried the "services.msc." route to get to Bluetooth Support Services with also no luck.
I've spent many hours over the last week trying to resolve this. The HP digital assistant has not been helpful. I can't find the driver that I need to reinstall Bluetooth. Why has this function disappeared? Is there a bug fix coming soon? Please help!

I spoke to soon.
How can I use Bluetooth accessories without Bluetooth? I've not experienced this on again/off again Bluetooth issue before.
My computer automatically updates so there is no update pending right now.
Please help!
