HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 3 or so yr old Envy.  It has developed and issue with Bluetooth in that on a random basis it seems to turn itself off and there is not on/off button in setings.  I have run the troubleshooter and reloaded the drivers several times but the problems persists. The issue is linked to a Logitech MX Master wireless mouse  If I reset the computer then Bluetooth ccomes back normally for an inconsistant  variable length of time.I first thought the mouse was the problem, but the issue is still there after replacing the mouse. Is the problem HP Envy age, Intel Driver or Logitech mouse incompatibility? Or something else?I

@JRPM,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Have you checked the Bluetooth with a different device?
  • Have you tested the Logitech mouse on a different computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

This is the third or fourth time I have replied. Cant figure out how to see the whole chain.

1=Tried a standard USB wired mouse, no problem

2-Tried new MX Master, no Logitech dongle. Problem (Bluetooth shutoff, no button) within first hour.

3- Tried new MX Master with Logitech dongle.  Three days no issue.

Somewhere in the chain, I did the bios update. BUT, did than a month or so ago, after the patch release anyway.

If you want me to accept this as the solution, okay. But I am not sure as I think the HP side is still in flux.
