HP Spectre x360 - 15t-df000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 11

The issue

Whenever I use Bluetooth audio or even my mouse or touch pen it's very choppy. With my headphones only in certain places will it work properly and sometimes It'll cut in and out even in the same place.  Using my mouse is sometimes choppy and my touch pen even cuts in and out. I know for a fact that it's not my headphones because it works fine on my phone and using a different pair of headphones has the same issue too.

For some background of when this started happening:

On my hp spectre about a year ago I was having some issues with power and screen blackouts. I first went to the IT department at my work they took off the panel and tried to do some stuff in the back I think but the issues wasn't resolved. I then called HP support where the issue was fixed. The solution to this was upgrading windows OS. This problem originated on Windows 10 and continued to happen on Windows 11. The reason I ask now is because on windows 10 I could select lower quality audio I think and it would work fine, but obviously with not as high quality.

What I've tried:

I've reinstalled uninstalled restarted computer and Bluetooth drivers. I tried updating drivers directly, browsing forums and seeing if anyone else has had the issue to find and no solution.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to open up the back and fiddle around but I really don't want to have to do this.

I'm fairly certain the problem originates from the IT department going into the computer.

Any help is appreciated. I could take the computer to my university IT with instructions given and see if they can play around with it.

Thanks!

You must disconnect audio sync for the headphone, close, and restart your audio player before music will return to the default audio sound playback device. On some platforms, you may need to unpair the headphones before sound is returned to the defaulted audio sound playback device.
