My Bluetooth devices pair but no longer connect to laptop. They used to work fine but have stopped connecting.
The items are Sony wireless headphones WH-CH500 and also a Hitachi Soundbar.
In Bluetooth settings both items now say 'That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth device is still discoverable and try again'.
Note: The devices still definitely work as I can successfully pair and connect to my phone.
I have removed the devices and re-added / paired them but no joy.
I have checked for driver updates in device manager and also windows update but no progress.
All obvious stuff like checking airplane mode is done.
I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the driver then restarting laptop for automatic update.
I have tried restarting Bluetooth support serviced in services through run command services.msc (I have also tried setting Bluetooth support service start up type to automatic.
Tanks in advance for any time someone takes in trying to help me out. I appreciate it.

-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
