I recently got my HP Laptop PC 17-c1000 back from a repair shop where I had to take it to get it's wifi driver replaced. After years of not being able to properly connect to wifi, that issue is now resolved, but bluetooth isn't working. I used to be able to pair my headphones and wireless mouse with no issues. Now I have to use the usb bluetooth receiver for the mouse, and the headphones won't connect at all. My headphones are discoverable and connecting to other devices with no problems, but when I try to connect with my laptop, it immediately gives me a message that it didn't work. I then decided to try to remove the headphones from the list of remembered devices and connect fresh as if they were a new device, but it's failing to even remove the device. I followed the entire troubleshooting guide with virtual assistant with the exception of the last step of deleting and reinstalling the bluetooth driver because I don't know how to reinstall once it's gone, and I fear I'll do more harm than good fiddling with it. Please help. I'm at my wits' end with this computer. I've never had a more PITA machine in my life.

Please go back to the repairer and ask them what did they do. Did they replace the wifi adapter or just driver (????). They
(a) May use a new wifi adapter without Bluetooth,
(b) Or they may install new wifi adapter with Bluetooth but did not install driver.
Only they know we don't know.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.
