Hi:
What model wifi adapter does your notebook have?
If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the network adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.
Bluetooth is a function of the wifi adapter.

Hi:
The Realtek RTL8188.11 bgn wifi adapter is a single band, non-Bluetooth wifi adapter.
That is the reason you can't find any Bluetooth devices.
Now if you want, you could upgrade the wifi card to this model, and have both AC wifi and Bluetooth...
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported)
HP part # L17365-005
The only place I have been able to find this model wifi card is on eBay, because the HP parts store has them on backorder.

This is a peer to peer forum.
I don't work for, or represent HP.
I suggest you contact the HP executive team at the link below and address your concerns with them.
https://ssl.www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/connect-with-hp.html
I also suggest that before you accuse HP of cheating you, that you have your facts in order.
You need to look up the specs for the specific product number 245 G5 you have, because not all 245 G5 models automatically come with Bluetooth.
The product number can be found on the same label as the serial number.
