Hi  @Tanik40

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you're having trouble getting Bluetooth to connect, and I'll do my best to help you with this .

To better understand the issue, could you kindly confirm the exact HP product model and the Windows version/build number installed on your device?

Additionally, kindly let me know:

  • Are you unable to turn Bluetooth on, or does it turn on but fail to connect to devices?
  • Does the Bluetooth option appear in Settings > Bluetooth & devices?
  • Are you trying to connect a specific device (headset, mouse, keyboard, speaker, etc.)?

In the meantime, kindly try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Restart the PC and the Bluetooth device you're trying to connect.
  2. Press Windows + X and open Device Manager.
  3. Expand Bluetooth.
  4. Right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Disable device, wait a few seconds, then Enable device again.
  5. If available, right-click the Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
  6. Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter:
    • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters
    • Locate Bluetooth and click Run.
  7. Ensure the Bluetooth Support Service is running:
    • Press Windows + R
    • Type services.msc and press Enter
    • Locate Bluetooth Support Service
    • Ensure it is set to Automatic and is Running.
  8. If you have the HP Support Assistant, kindly run it and install any recommended chipset, wireless, or Bluetooth driver updates.

Based on what you've described, This can happen if the Bluetooth driver is outdated, the Bluetooth service is not running correctly, Windows settings have become corrupted, or there is a communication issue between the PC and the Bluetooth device.

I hope this helps.
