Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everybody,

I am experiencing some real issues on my bluetooth driver.

I am using the default Broadcom 2070 but that ain't giving me the functionalaties of Bluetooth.

It is just half working, I can turn bluetooth on and be seen by other devices.

But pairing an device, NO won't take it none. Have tried this with over 4 devices.

So basically I seem to have bluetooth but it sort of glitched. I also tried installing different drivers but those didn't work at all.

Can somebody help me and say what is wrong?

Or is the hardware seriously broken because I c an't imagine that.

I do get almost everything so don't be afraid to give me direct instructions of possible solutions!

As givenn my system,

Windows 10 (64-BIT)

Bluetooth driver Broadcom 2070.

Greetings TTroubleshooter.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W10 BT driver...

This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver for supported models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth devices.

Thanks for your answer,

Okay if I understood you correctly, I did just that.

Now I have downloaded your links file and unpacked it installed it etcetera, it updated but nothing really changed.

The same BT Driver still: Broadcom 2070.

My version now is the same as before: 6.3.0.6060.

Dated from way back: 12-7-2010. 7 years ago.

Didn't help.

FYI I also can't see any bluetooth devices from my HP EliteBook.

But please if you now more, you sound like you know how to fix it.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

Some things just don't work on W10, which is why HP doesn't support any PC made before August of 2013 for W10.

Okay no problem.

Thank you for the support you gave, too bad it doesn't work.

Good support of HP!

Now I have decided to fix it by buying a blueotooth USB adapter.

Hopefully till never. Nothing breaks or stops working.
