HP Laptop - 14s-cf3033tu

For more than 1 year there was a update for windows 11 pending for me in my device. So on october I updated to windows 11, unfortunately from then on my bluetooth option became unstable and after using troubleshooting it was asked to restart the device and then by luck's sake sometime it worked . But most of the time the Bluetooth option just popped out of my device and no way to get back that. This january all on a sudden the troubleshooter suggests me to update my windows driver option for bluetooth issue. So when I searched for it on the HP website for the HP Laptop - 14s-cf3033tu it didn't show any update for windows 11, make no mistake I got update from the laptop itself and didn't update anything from outside. Even after my first windows11 update , i up to dated all the update it was given to me. Recently there's a new issue happening , along with the previous no bluetooth issue now whenever I connect my TWS with bluetooth the sounds don't come from the TWS rather from the laptop itself. So I'm unable to use my tws with the laptop anymore. So how can this unstable ,malfunctioned bluetooth issue can be solved please?

Hi @kawser17,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Dealing with Bluetooth issues can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the Bluetooth issues on your HP Laptop - 14s running Windows 11.

1. Update Bluetooth Drivers:

  • Go to the HP support website: HP Customer Support
  • Enter your laptop model (HP Laptop - 14s-cf3033tu) and look for the latest Bluetooth drivers compatible with Windows 11.
  • Download and install the updated drivers.

2. Windows Update:

  • Ensure your Windows 11 is up-to-date. Sometimes, Windows updates include fixes for hardware compatibility issues.
  • Go to "Settings" > "Windows Update" > "Check for updates."

3. Reinstall Bluetooth Drivers:

  • Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."
  • Locate and expand the "Bluetooth" section.
  • Right-click on your Bluetooth device, choose "Uninstall device," and then restart your laptop.
  • Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers.

4. Reset Bluetooth:

  • Open "Settings" and go to "Devices" > "Bluetooth & other devices."
  • Turn off Bluetooth and wait for a few seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Reconnect your TWS and check if the issue persists.

5. System File Checker (SFC) Scan:

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking the Start button and selecting "Command Prompt (Admin)."
  • Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Let the scan complete and fix any corrupted system files.

6. Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no other electronic devices causing interference with your Bluetooth signal.
  • Move away from Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, and other potential sources of interference.

7. Restore to a Previous State:

  • If the issue started after a recent update, you can try rolling back to a previous restore point.
  • Search for "Create a restore point" in the Start menu, go to the "System Protection" tab, and click "System Restore."

8. Additional Troubleshooting:

  • Check if there are any specific Bluetooth-related settings in the HP support software that might need adjustment.
  • Look for any firmware updates for your TWS device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
