Yesterday my bluetooth mouse stopped working with my HP 8460p notebook so i tried it on another notebook and it worked. Next I downloaded Broadcom, Setup BtwDownloadSE. When I ran it said " Please plug in and turn on your Bluetooth device. So I turned on the Logitech M220 bluetooth mouse and plugged in its USB dongle. The notebook did not detect the mouse. Next I downloaded Broadcom Bluetooth Driver Installer64. When I ran it, it said "No Bluetooth adapter found. It is recommended you uninstall our existing Bluetooth driver and reboot - unplug the existing Bluetooth adapter during the reboot." I uninstalled::
- WIDCOMM Bluetooth software 6.5.1.6930
- HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth wireless technology 6.2.1.500
- Logitech Options 7.10.3
- Logitech SelftPoint 6.69
Went to HP Support for Elitebook 8460p and could determine what driver(s) to download for operating Bluetooth mouse with my Elitebook 8460p running Windows 7 64-bit; also went to Logitech Support and there were several options there to. What should I do? Can someone help me get my bluetooth mouse to work with my notebook again.

Everything is working but the question of what caused the problem is unanswered, will it reocur? Before I restored I removed the hard drive that has the problem. I can reinstall it. Could someone help me analyze what caused the the problem?
