For everyone who is experiencing this problem, I contacted HP OMEN support and they led me through the standard steps to no avail. I also found other threads here and the support is the same. Here is the solution I found:
-Windows updates don't help.
-Windows troubleshooter didn't help.
-HP update didn't help.
-Deleting bluetooth drivers/device and detecting changes didn't help.
-Did not try a fresh install of Windows because I didn't want to go through the hassle of backing up my files.
Solution:
I used CCleaner to do a scan of outdated drivers on my laptop. Since I don't want to upgrade for the paid version, I simply copied the driver info it showed for my device indicating that I needed this driver:
Realtek wireless bluetooth adapter 1.10.1061.3014
I was then able to Google the appropriate Realtek updated driver file and manually installed this on my HP 15t Omen (which is out of the warranty support period). I found it on the driveridentifer.com website here: https://www.driveridentifier.com/scan/realtek-wireless-bluetooth-adapter-driver/driver-detail/854F65...
If HP would like to kindly provide their original download link here for convenience that would be great. Be careful because that site has a lot of bogus
You're welcome!
