Thanks - I ordered the dongle that both you and Paul suggested. Will let you know how it goes and then update the solution

Thanks again

You're very welcome.

The model I posted for you is both AC Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth, so you just need to use one USB port for the device.

Also, regarding the internal Realtek Wi-Fi card, there is no need to buy an additional antenna wire as the internal RTL8821CE Wi-Fi adapter works with one antenna wire--both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, just like the RTL8723BE does.

I got the adapter and installed the Wifi and BT. However I cannot get my JBL Tune 510BT to connect. If I try to remove and pair the device afresh, I get "setup blocked by group policy"

Please advise.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that problem.

I only use mine for picture transfers from my phone to my PC.

I was unaware there was a problem with the group policy.  There is an discussion of this exact problem here

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-bluetooth-connection-issue-rtka2dp/...

You can try what was suggested in that thread.  It is not clear to me what devices you added or replaced.

Are you using dongles for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?

Still have the old mini-express card?

Replaced the mini-express card?

You need to get rid of the driver that is causing the problem.

I am guessing that the driver is blocked from running.  The group policy is listed as the culprit but it may be related to "vulnerable driver blocklist" that Microsoft put into win10  (v) 1809
