My computer's bluetooth adapter isnt working right. I cant connect to the net on my Pc so im stuck typing this on a phone. I checked the bluetooth adapter on my computer in "device manager" and it said "Windows had stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).

I tried disabling and re-enabling the adapter. I even tried multiple network resets, but that still didnt fix the issue. What should I do?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues with the HP PC.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM by downloading it on to a USB from another PC and then run it on this PC.
  • Try doing a System Restore on the PC if Wi-Fi had worked few days ago.
  • Make sure the network adapter drivers are up to date.

If issue still persist then run the network card using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI.

  1. Start or restart the computer.
  2. Press F2 repeatedly during start up to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI utility.
  3. Select Component Tests > Network test
  4. Click Run Once.

Once the test completes, results are displayed on the screen.

If the test passes continue to restore the computer back to the factory default using Reset PC, which will isolate whether it’s a software or hardware issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
