Hi,
wireless connection expects that I turn the wifi adapter ON manually and there is only one function button (F12) for flight mode which does not enable power supply to wifi adapter and no other switch is located on any side of the laptop as in some variants of this same model. I have installed the driver sp78044 but that did not solve it.
It was working fine with WIN8.1 but after clean install of WIN10, the above accours.
If I run the network assistance / troubleshooter, it request me to use the external switch to enable the WIFI adapter card.
IPconfig -all shows media is disconnected
Wireless LAN adapter WLAN:
Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi M.2 Adapter
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . :
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes
Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
WLAN setting is enabled, does not help either.
Adapter setting show also X as disconnected
What should I do to enable the wlan adapter, is there a patch for this Laptop with flight mode on function F12 and not on the left side as on some models of same laptop.
