I've never seen such a crappy adapter in my life. I've been trying to solve the problem for days. It can not be! The signal quality is good, but I can't download files. 0 byte/sn! The driver on the link did not solve the problem. HP shouldn't have used such a poor product! "Can HP help?"

Hi:

Yes it is not a good adapter, but the issue you have is most likely that HP connected the antenna cable to the wrong terminal.

See this discussion to either fix the issue, or replace the wifi card with the Realtek AC model I suggested...

Thanks. Are there any other compatible brands? I know HP services are very expensive, so I'll have to go to any technical service.

You're very welcome.

That is the only wifi card that will work with the one antenna your notebook has.

To install a different card such as the better Intel 7265 AC card, you would have to add a second antenna into the display panel area, which would require disassembling the entire notebook.

Much easier to just get the Realtek card and pop the antenna cable on it.
