I bought an HP Envy Notebook (15-as133cl) that has no DSL plug. It is WiFi. However, on occasion I'm somewhere where there is no available WiFi. Will this notebook work with an Ethernet adapter or LAN wired network adapter? I've seen these as a single DSL plug that plugs into a USB port or as a hub with 2 or 3 USB ports + DSL plug that plug into the USB port. I have not yet turned the computer on, because I may return it if DSL access is going to be a problem.

Your laptop: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05318840
Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05219344
There are 3 USB 3.0 ports - 2 left, 1 right side
And 1 Type C USB 3.0 port on right side
This will work:
