HI All,
I have a 150Mb internet connection but, since my laptop only supports 100MB max (Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN) iam not able to utilize my internet speed to the fullest. I would like to know whether i can upgrade my Network card to 150Mb or higher so i can have better internet speed. Kindly help

The wired ethernet "card" is soldered to the motherboard, or at best on a daughterboard that plugs into the motherboard. There is no other alternate part available.
However, let's discuss your math. You have a 150 megabit/second internet connection and a 100-Base T ethernet. Thats megabytes, not bits. 8 bits to a byte. So the ethernet is capable of transferring data maybe 4 or 5 times faster than it can come in on your internet connection. 100 Base-T would not bottleneck anything other than the very fastest internet available, like gigabit fiber optic internet. If you feel like your ethernet is bottlenecking your internet the only option would be a gigabit ethernet usb adapter, which would only be useful if the rest of your network hardware like routers and switches were gigabit capable. I am pretty sure if you run a test on speedtest.net of your download and upload speed with your ethernet and then try it again with a gigabit ethernet adapter it would be the same.

Thank You , i checked with my ISP and they are suggesting me to have a better network card to utilize the full 150Mbps speed or i should buy a gigabit ethernet usb adapter..since nothing is working at the moment i might buy a gigabit ethernet usb adapter and check the connection again.
