Hi @Ash1102,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Your Wi-Fi Settings

Make Sure Wi-Fi is Enabled:

  • Click on the network icon in the system tray (bottom right corner).
  • Ensure that the Wi-Fi icon is lit and that the airplane mode is off.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and click Connect.

Restart Your Router:

  • Unplug the router and modem.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds and then plug them back in.
  • Wait for the router to fully restart.

Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi Network:

  • Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  • Click on Manage known networks.
  • Select your home network and click Forget.
  • Reconnect to your network by selecting it from the list and entering the password.

Check Your Network Adapter

Check Network Adapter Settings:

  • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Properties.
  • Under the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Update Network Adapter Driver:

  • Right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager.
  • Select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
  • If an update is found, install it.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & internet.
  • Scroll down and click on Network reset.
  • Click Reset now to initiate the reset.

Check Windows Settings and Updates

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
  • Install any available updates and restart your computer if needed.

I hope this helps.
