Hi @RKR176
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for reaching out—being unable to connect to the internet can be incredibly disruptive, especially when you're trying to stay productive.
Let’s walk through a few steps to help you restore connectivity on your HP Envy da0013dx.
Step-by-Step: Restore Internet Access
Check Wireless Switch or Function Key
Some HP laptops have a physical wireless switch or require pressing Fn + F12 (or a similar key with a wireless icon) to enable Wi-Fi.
Run HP Network Check
HP offers a built-in diagnostic tool that can automatically detect and fix network issues.
You can access it through HP’s Networking Troubleshooting Guide.
Verify Network Adapter Status
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager
- Expand Network adapters
- Right-click your wireless adapter and choose Enable (if disabled) or Update driver
Forget and Reconnect to Your Network
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi
- Click Manage known networks
- Select your network and click Forget
- Reconnect by entering your Wi-Fi password again
Reset Network Settings
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings
- Select Network reset and follow the prompts
- Restart your laptop after the reset completes
Check for Windows Updates
Sometimes a pending update can interfere with connectivity.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any available updates
If none of these steps restore your connection, HP also provides a dedicated support page for your model:

I’m here to help you get back online as quickly as possible. If you’d like to go deeper into any of these steps or explore alternate connection methods, just let me know.
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
Regards,
