I have tried casting chrome tabs to my Google Chromecast that is connected to my tv and keep getting the message "No devices found". I am able to cast from other devices, such as my phone and tablet. I have checked that both devices are connected to the same network, and chrome is running the latest version. Is there anything else I can try to cast my screen?

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  
Please install the google chrome cast from this YouTube link and check if it works. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4V4BTBgqH8

Please do not click on any website, ad, download or image as the link is a third party link. It is only for viewing it and following the on-screen instructions.

 

If this does not work, and your TV supports Miracast, then please try this link to project the screen of your computer to your TV HP Desktop and Notebook PCs - Sharing your Screen Using Miracast (Windows)  http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04228016

Thank you for your time, however, I can't download the cast extension. I don't think that it exists anymore as the cast button exists in the menu hidden by the 3 dots in the top right corner. I have this button however when I select cast it searches for a device and then says "no devices found"

Try this method "No devices found" if this fails, I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to Remote into your computer and sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
