I cannot find out how to connect the WiFi, on my pc. It runs windows 7 and the taskbar is at the top any help will be greatly appreciated. And I’m sorry if my explanation is vague; that is simply all I know.

According to the parts list for your PC, it does not come with built in Wi-Fi networking, so you can't connect to Wi-Fi unless you install a Wi-Fi adapter.

HP PartSurfer

The easiest thing to do for that would be to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter that works on W7.

You can change the taskbar location by following the guidance at the link below:

You're very welcome.

I use this model on my HP desktop PC that didn't come with Wi-Fi.

Amazon.com: USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter, 600Mbps Dual Band 2.4/5Ghz Wireless Network External Receive...

Works great.  It even has Bluetooth.

When you plug it in to the USB port, a window should open with a folder to install the drivers.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Yes, I have a few USB Wi-Fi adapters laying around collecting dust.

They were old and I decided to upgrade.

I seem to recall that I got my first USB Wi-Fi adapter from a friend for free.

That's what's nice about it.

It's small and has great reception even with no external antennas.

I have used it in the basement of my two-story house with the Wi-Fi router on the 2nd floor.

Oh and if you don’t mind I had one more question if it doesn’t have a key does it still work?

Oh!? neat
