@Pihu2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Laptop Updates!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

  1. Check Disk Space: Make sure your laptop has enough disk space to download and install updates.
  2. Restart the Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve update issues.
  3. Verify Internet Connection: Ensure your laptop is connected to the internet. Try an Ethernet cable for a stable connection.
  4. Windows Update Troubleshooter: Use the built-in Windows Update Troubleshooter. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Windows Update.
  5. Check Date and Time Settings: Incorrect date and time settings can disrupt updates. Ensure these are set correctly.

Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Check Wi-Fi Adapter: Make sure your Wi-Fi adapter is enabled. Go to Device Manager, find Network Adapters, and ensure the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled.
  2. Restart Router: Try restarting your router to resolve connectivity issues.
  3. Forget and Reconnect to Network: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks, select the Wi-Fi network, and click "Forget." Then reconnect to the network.
  4. Check for Driver Updates: Ensure your network drivers are up to date. You can use HP Image Assistant to check for any updates: HP PCs - Using HP Image Assistant.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
